Telegraphic Transfers
We can offer you the ability to transfer funds overseas quickly and securely through Western Union – the world’s largest foreign exchange specialist.
By transferring the funds using a telegraphic transfer, you can deposit funds to a nominated overseas bank account usually within 3 - 5 working days. Funds are deposited in the currency you specify and are immediately available for withdrawal.
You will need to provide the following details to send a telegraphic transfer:
- Swift Code
- Your full name
- Your full residential address, including town/city and country, i.e. No PO Boxes.
- Beneficiary’s full name
- Beneficiary’s full residential address, including town/city and country, i.e. No PO Boxes.
- Beneficiary’s account number (Note: IBAN if European country - this number will be 22 digits long)
- The full name and address of the Beneficiary’s Bank
To request a telegraphic transfer, simply complete the form and return it to us.

International Draft
Drafts are like an international bank cheque, made out to the beneficiary in their local currency.
You can send them in the mail so they are ideal if you want to enclose the payment with a card or letter. Available in a wide range of currencies, drafts are also a good option if you don’t have the beneficiary’s bank account details.
To request an international draft, simply complete the form and return it to us.

Swift Payment
To receive funds to your Credit Union account from overseas, simply provide the following details:
- BSB No. 802-355
- Swift code: CUSCAU2SXXX (CUSCAL LIMITED)
- Account No: Your 9 digit account number (located on your statement) or member number
(Note: Do not include a/c type eg. S1)
- Account Name: Name in which the account is held
Please note that third party financial institutions may charge you a fee for processing international transfers. No Credit Union fees apply to this service.
